Deltamax (2006)
Deltamax (2006), "Max", is available for adoption. This approximately 16hh, handsome and intelligent gelding was rescued at
auction in February 2010 for $75 to prevent him from shipping out of state to slaughter. Max was very underweight, had
recently suffered a racing related injury, and had suffered an animal bite on his jugular area infection to which necessitated a
lengthy rehab. Max has now been cleared for adoption, and passed a lameness evaluation. His movement and conformation
seem well suited to a dressage career, but more generally he is being adopted out as a sport or pleasure horse prospect to
adopters experienced with re-training off track thoroughbreds, or to adopters working with professional trainers with that
