Rosa Rugosa (2001)

Rosa Rugosa (2001) - "Rosa" - needs a new home! Rosa is a beautiful, very solidly built, approximately 15.3h.h. dark bay mare who raced 23 times, retired from racing in mid 2006, and was rescued at auction in January 2010 (her second time at a local auction since retiring from the racetrack) to prevent her from shipping to slaughter. Although she has some off-track experience, we are adopting her out as track or green broke only to an adopter experienced with transitioning off track thoroughbreds or who is working with a similarly experienced trainer. Rosa is shy and slow to trust people. If you would like to discuss visiting Rosa, or a possible adoption, please call Jackie at (951) 768-2043. Rosa is located in Norco.
