We are fortunate and grateful to have several talented equine artists among our friends, Dagmar Galleithner, Christine Picavet,
Gina Romero, Fred Stone, and Bob Zirillo each of whom is supporting our efforts to rescue and re-home high risk Thoroughbreds
by donating sales proceeds from their work. Please contact us at email@example.com for more details, pricing, and offers.
World renowned equine artist Christine Picavet has supported SCTR from its infancy, by permitting us to use as a logo an image
of her painting of a beautiful daughter of Vaguely Noble, also the sire of the ill-fated Exceller. Christine has donated her oil
painting of Zenyatta at Oaklawn Park to SCTR, and also 100 limited edition, signed and numbered prints of the painting. You
can buy prints, and see additional details, at Zenyatta Painting and Prints.
Here is an image of the Zenyatta oil painting which is available, and for which we still have some limited edition prints on canvas
available for $225 plus shipping and handling of $10.
Christine will also donate 10% of the proceeds of ANY commissioned painting up to $2,000 per commission, and 10% of the
proceeds of existing artwork, when you mention Southern California Thoroughbred Rescue at the time of your purchase of her
work. The donations can be made directly to SCTR by the client. Please visit Christine's website.
We are extremely grateful to equine artist Fred Stone, for his donation of a limited edition (one of only 120) artist's proof of the
print "A Legacy of Hope Barbaro". This artist's proof has been sold to benefit our horses. Please visit Fred's website.
