Desert's Honey Cup (2004)

Desert's Honey Cup (2004) - "Honey" - needs a new home! Honey is an incredibly sweet and gentle dark bay mare by Soft Gold, who never raced, but both trained and worked at California racetracks. Rescued at auction, thin and depressed, from a trip to a Mexican slaughterhouse on Valentine's Day 2009, Honey has rehabilitated into a beautiful young mare. Honey is sound, has a clean bill of health from our veterinarian, is very solidly built although only about 15hh, and is an absolute sweetheart. She will happily lay her head right in your arms! Honey is working well in the roundpen, longeing, and is ready to start back under saddle. She is being adopted out as green or race broke only, but her temperament and roundpen work suggest that she will be very willing to learn for you. Honey is up to date on shots, worming, and farrier.  Please call Jackie at (951) 768-2043 to discuss a possible adoption of Honey, and additional details. Honey is located at our adoption center in Apple Valley, California.

Adoption Fee: $650
