SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA THOROUGHBRED RESCUE

Hawaiian Lyon (2000) is a handsome 16hh bay gelding and former stakes placed racehorse who is available for adoption as a flat trail or light flat riding horse only. Lyon sustained multiple soft tissue injuries to his left ankle racing, and has been in rehabilitation since October 2008. Our vet re-evaluated him in Jaunary 2010, and has cleared him for flat, light riding. Lyon has not yet (as of 02/2010) been re-started under saddle, and will be adopted out to someone that can provide appropriate re-training only.
