SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA THOROUGHBRED RESCUE

Persistent (2002) - "Percy" - is a beautiful eight year old KY bred gelding, 16hh+, with a big personality who we rescued from slaughter in December 2008. Percy has an old racing injury to his left front ankle, which means that he is suitable for flat and light riding only. Percy has had experience under saddle since leaving the racetrack, and we have ridden him in the arena and on flat trails. After a long rehab, Percy is finally feeling great, and ready for his lifetime home with a loving adopter. He needs an adopter comfortable with forward horses and with off track thoroughbreds.
